What does a consultation cost?
Nothing. Twenty minutes, a partner, and a straight answer about whether we are the right fit. If we are not, we will say so and point you somewhere good.
Can you clean up books that are badly behind?
Yes, it is some of our favorite work. We quote catch-up projects as a fixed price after a look at the current state, so the mess never meets an hourly meter.
Do we have to be in Michigan?
No. About a third of our clients are elsewhere; portals and video calls carry the relationship fine. We do keep real office hours in Brighton for those who like a chair across from their CPA.
What happens at year-end if you already do our books?
The best part: nothing dramatic. Your books are already tax-ready, so the return is assembled from work that has been reviewed all year. Most bookkeeping clients have their returns drafted by late February.
Will we work with a partner or get handed off?
Every engagement is led by Marta or Dev, and they do the thinking personally. June keeps everything moving in between. That is the whole roster, and it is on purpose.
How do fixed prices work when our situation changes?
If scope changes, the price changes before the work happens, in writing, with the reason. A surprise on an invoice is a failure on our side, not yours.
